Client name and phone number are used exclusively to manage queue position and, where the client has provided SMS consent, to send a one-time transactional SMS notification about their queue status. We do not use this information for marketing purposes.
By checking the consent box during check-in, clients agree to receive one-time transactional SMS messages from UpNext regarding their queue position. Standard message and data rates may apply. Clients may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message.
Client check-in data is stored securely using Google Firebase Realtime Database. Data is retained for operational purposes and can be deleted by the shop owner at any time through the UpNext owner dashboard.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share client personal information with any third parties. Phone numbers collected during check-in are never used for marketing campaigns or shared with advertisers.
UpNext uses Google Firebase for data storage and Twilio for SMS delivery. These services are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party providers.
Clients may request deletion of their information at any time by contacting the barbershop directly or by reaching us at (361) 695-0047. Shop owners may delete individual client records through the UpNext dashboard.

UpNext is a walk-in queue management system and barbershop operating platform provided by UpNext. Services include a real-time queue display, client check-in system, CRM, AI assistant, and related features.
By providing a phone number and checking the consent box at check-in, clients consent to receive one-time transactional SMS messages regarding their queue position. This consent is voluntary and clients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Barbershop owners using UpNext agree to use the system in compliance with all applicable laws, to maintain the confidentiality of their access credentials, and to ensure client data is handled responsibly. Shop owners are responsible for obtaining proper SMS consent from their clients.
We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Service may be affected by internet connectivity, third-party provider outages, or scheduled maintenance.
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance. Setup fees are one-time charges. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with no cancellation fees. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us directly.
UpNext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the prior month.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
